Products Description
Reflective glass also called coated glass and reflex glass is clear or tinted glass that has a very thin layer of metal or metallic oxide on the surface.The thicker the glass is, the less light will pass through the window.
Reflective glass is essentially ordinary float glass with a metallic coating that cuts off solar heat. This reflective coating is applied during the float process to enhance the amount of heat reflected by the glass ,preventing visibility from the outside and thus preserving privacy. Reflective glass is used primarily for structural façade glazing.
ENERGY-EFFICIENT FENESTRATIONS

It will absorb and reflect a significant amount of the outside heat and keep you cool during the summers! What's more, you can bring down your energy bills by cutting down the use of artificial lighting and heating and cooling systems.
Characteristics
Appearance
Reflective glass gives a building a mirror-like appearance. The coatings are available in silver, copper, golden, crystal yellow, pink. They can be combined with tinted glass to give a building a beautiful exterior.
Visibility
Reflective glass permits you to see through the glass on one side, but not the other.
Energy savings
Because it reflects and absorbs the sun's rays, reflective glass reduces the amount of solar radiation that enters the building. This can save money in heating and air-conditioning costs.
Comfort
Reflective glass reduces variations in the interior temperature of a building.
There are two kinds of reflective glass – production pyrolitic process and vacuum (magnetron) process.
Production Pyrolitic (On-line)
In this process, semi-conducted metal oxides are directly applied to the glass during float glass production, while the glass is still hot, in the annealing lehr. These coatings are called hard coatings, and are relatively less harmful to the environment.
Vacuum (Magnetron) Process (Off-line)
In this process, one or more coats of metal oxide are applied under a vacuum to finished glass. The coatings applied by this technique are soft and require protection from the external environment; they are therefore applied on the inner side of glass panes. Their low resistance makes them better off when used in a double glazing system. Cost-wise, this glass is relatively expensive.
