Silk Screen Glass

Silk Screen glass refers to glass that has been decorated or patterned using a screen-printing process. In this method, a design is created by blocking out areas of a fine mesh screen, allowing ink or other materials to pass through onto the surface of the glass in the desired pattern or image. The ink is then cured or dried to create a permanent decoration on the glass.

This method provides numerous benefits, such as the capacity to produce detailed designs with accuracy and consistency. The designs printed can vary from basic lines and shapes to intricate, multi-colored images, and can be added to glass of different shapes, sizes, and thicknesses. Moreover, screen-printed glass can undergo additional treatments like tempering or laminating to improve its durability and safety features.

Screen-printed solid colors provide a colored glass that is both decorative and durable, utilising organic ink that is fused to the glass through the toughening process.
