Product Introduction
Products Description

Curved Tempered Glass is a type of glass that has been heated to a high temperature and then quickly cooled to increase its strength. This process, known as tempering, creates a product that is much stronger than regular glass. The term "curved" indicates that the glass has been shaped or bent into a curved form, providing a unique and aesthetically pleasing look. Curved tempered glass is commonly used in architectural applications, such as curved windows, glass doors, and glass railings, due to its strength and safety features.

For the curved tempered glass, the annealed glass is firstly heated to over 550 °C, the glass is moved within the furnace into the bending station, where it is bent to its target radius. We can make lengthwise bending and also crosswise bending.

An essential consideration regarding curved tempered glass is that once it undergoes tempering, it becomes impossible to cut or alter. Therefore, meticulous measurements and thorough planning are crucial prior to the tempering process, as any errors or adjustments would necessitate restarting the entire procedure.

Heat Soak Test, or HST is a process that may expose nickel sulfide inclusions in tempered glass to minimize the risk of spontaneous breakages of heat-treated glass.

Heat soak testing is important for fully

tempered glass because natural nickel sulfide(NiS)in glass can cause breakage when heated by the sun. Heat soak testing simulates this heat to ensure there are no NiS inclusions! For more details follow the link!
